Stabilized oxygen has been considered a part of oxygen-based therapies for over 200 years.
In fact, the earliest record of an oxygen therapy used on a human was in 1783.
Since that date, oxygen has been used successfully, in different modalities, to bring
numerous physiological benefits to people all over the world. These therapies include
hyperbaric oxygen, ozone, hydrogen peroxide, and the newest of the therapies,
liquid stabilized oxygen.
The term “Vitamin O” was first used by molecular biologist and geneticist Dr. Stephen Levine,
well known for his research on free radicals. In an early 1980s article titled
“Vitamin O: The Oxygen Nutrient,” Dr. Betty Karmen, PhD, quotes a conversation with Dr. Levine
in which he stated:
“Vitamin O—the oxygen nutrient . . . If nutrients were given numbers in order of importance,
oxygen would be ‘numero uno’ because it is the single most important substance for living.
(Try existing without it for more than three minutes!) . . . It is also essential for the
metabolism of food -- a form of controlled combustion. Oxygen nutrition optimizes the oxygen
concentration of oxygen in relation to a natural food diet. In other words, the amount of
oxygen in relation to food density is the key!...Oxygen provides the spark of life.
Nutrients provide the fuel for burning. The correct fuel/oxygen mixture is required for
the best of health.”
Vitamin O has, as its primary active ingredient, dissolved mono-atomic oxygen
molecules in the form of O2. These molecules are not “forced” into Vitamin O
under pressure nor bubbled through the solution to enhance absorption. Rather the O2
molecules in Vitamin O are “created” from the actual solution itself and are
stabilized using a proprietary technique. Thus, the O2 molecules in Vitamin O
are not dissolved in the aqueous solution in the traditional sense.
It is very important to point out that the Vitamin O solution differs greatly
from other oxygen liquid supplements because Vitamin O is based on a dissolved
mono-atomic oxygen molecule, not on oxychlorine or other oxygen-based compounds.
Many of today’s sharpest scientific minds are growing concerned that the human body is
not getting anywhere near the levels of oxygen needed for peak health, vitality, immune
system function, and longevity. As Dr. W. Spencer Way writes in the Journal of the American
Association of Physicians, “Insufficient oxygen means insufficient biological energy that
can result in anything from mild fatigue to life threatening disease. The link between
insufficient oxygen and disease has now been firmly established.”
Vitamin O has been one of our most popular products for over twenty years because
of the benefits people are seeing in their health. We hear all the time that Vitamin O
is one product they don’t want to be without. We trademarked the name Vitamin O,
not because we are claiming that it is an actual vitamin, but because it is a powerful way
to deliver supplemental oxygen to the body — and oxygen is a vital element for all our lives.
